This one's from later in her life, after she's finished her pledged service to the University. So she's about thirty here. (It's difficult to tell Ekanu's exact age, because her people don't consider birthdays important. They count age by winters. So she's thirty winters, but whether she's thirty years? I dunno.)

And as I should not be up at such an hour, despite Tuesday being a no-class day, I will sign off and get some sleep. Yay sleep!

Am deathly bored, as I have no classes today and no homework either. I don't want to go out, though, as it's windy and overcast. I tried writing and the words are being pissy and refusing to come. And while I really ought to read the latest chapters of Paracelsus's marvelous Restitution, somehow I've worked myself into a state where the more I want to read it, the more I dig my feet in and refuse to read it.

It's like when you don't want to read something a friend recommends, except I'm playing the friend as well as myself.

There are times I really wonder about my sanity.

So apparently even weird online test programs agree that teaching is a good field for me. Yay! :-)
