So today I trekked over to the health center and then the deans' office to fill out forms requesting a medical leave. It's not that I really need one, but it seems to be the most graceful and least transcript-damaging way to withdraw from university. And as I seem to have psychological issues with a standard university setting -- that is to say, I do fine when I'm in the real world, working, but I fall to pieces when I try full-time education -- a medical leave isn't that much of a stretch.

So yay! Now I just need to find a job for the fall, and apply to the community college.

Other than that, I did laundry. Which was boring.

And bought a bowl. Which was actually kind of cool, because it was made by local people at the university clay workshop/class thingy; they offer classes, and then people can sort of come in whenever and use the wheels and whatnot. And then at the end of the semester, they sell the products. It's a nice bowl, just right for a serving of drained ramen noodles.

Ramen. That reminds me: FYI, I have discoverd that Maruchan chicken ramen tastes much better than Nissin TOP ramen, although the Nissin ramen has fewer green parsley flakes in the seasoning packets. (I make no guarantees about product spelling.)

No writing today. The only thing I could picture today was two final scenes of an original novel that I AM NOT writing now, because I don't know the beginning or middle in enough detail. And I really wish the ending would just GO AWAY and let me work on the fanfic chapter I'm supposed to be writing. Grrr.
