Somebody in Australia is apparently making an annotated anthology of translations and adaptations of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, ran across Sir Ron and the Green Knight, and asked if she could include it.

You could about knock me over with a feather.

---------------------------------

In other walks of life, Ryan finked out and didn't call about lunch. So we didn't meet. Schmuck.

But Cat and Susan and I have plans to see Spider-man 2 tomorrow evening, so all is well despite him.

---------------------------------

Our kitchen is looking more and more like an actual kitchen. Today we got the mirror installed in the new bathroom, all the plumbing hooked up, and most of the electrical work done. *is impressed by the sudden spurt of efficiency* But after the electricians finish tomorrow, nothing happens until Tuesday or Wednesday, at which point we theoretically get the backsplash tiles above the counter.

Phone jacks in the kitchen are now functional! PLus, closet lights!

Am now dashing off to Pat's, from whence we might go shopping to Bed & Bath. (Or is it Bed Bath & Beyond? I'm never quite sure...)

Watched part one of the first Second Sight series that ran on Mystery! a few years back. It was Cat's idea; she said she'd rather see Spider-man tomorrow, because Sunday she gets to start work a bit later than other days. Anyway, it's a good show so far, though at the beginning, they use the same sort of ominous music to introduce icky crime scene imagery that they use to show Tanner's sight going haywire. Which was confusing for a minute. But it's a minor point.

That's about it for today. Am planning to write a lot tomorrow, to make up for spending most of this week reading. I got through my history of Poland, Lud-in-the-Mist, Mister Monday by Garth Nix, a couple of soupies -- those are romance novels, for the uninitiated -- a bunch of fanfiction, and fair bits of two psychology textbooks. I'm about read out for the moment. Next up is Roofwalker, which Ardis bought for me and got signed by the author herself. Then I tackle the Ghormenghast trilogy.

ETA: Worked a bit on Secrets. Dream scenes are a bitca.
