writing woes
Jul. 11th, 2004 04:02 pm"Secrets" is still being vicious and non-responsive, but I managed over a thousand words of "First You Have To Get There" last night. Which, oddly enough, were mostly about Harry and Ginny and Tom during CoS. And Colin's Petrification, no less, which is about where I'm stuck in "Secrets."
I think my subconscious is repeating like a scratched record.
Still, I got Ginny and Harry to have an actual discussion and argument, and they were both participating and got some things out in the open. Which is good, because now maybe they can start being actual friends in the blasted story.
I still dunno if they're going to have a romantic relationship by the end of it, though. I'm inclined to think not, but I've never had much of an idea where this thing was going, so I can't say for sure.
I am never writing a story like this again. I don't like not having an outline!
---------------------------------------
It's hard to find much detailed information on Lacu Rosu, but it seems it's part of a spa resort thing. Also, the name of the other lake in the area (the one I was originally thinking of when writing "The Dragon Debacle") is Lake Ana, or something like that. That lake's in an old volcanic crater.
I'm thinking I need a map, and then I can squeeze the Dragon Reserve between the two lakes somehow.
