Solved it! I solved the evil transition problem in "Secrets"! I did I did I did!

Of course, there didn't need to be a transition problem at all, not a bit -- certainly wasn't one in my outline, oh no. But little miss Ginevra Weasley had to go and end one scene her way and leave me no good jumping off point for the next scene. Stupid characters.

But I solved it! And the new pieces will help set up some plot points later on, so they're actually useful to the whole story, not just to get me from point A to point B within chapter 7.

I am so happy!

(Man, you really do get the best ideas as you fall asleep. I think it's 'cause your subconscious is running free, but your conscious mind is still aware enough to be paying attention. I set the back of my mind to this problem a week or so ago, and hey presto! I got an answer. And it's a much better one than I would have gotten if I'd just beat my head against the evil scene break for a week.

Well, that and I'm too lazy to keep writing things that I know won't go anywhere. But that's a given.)
