1. The thing I hate most about relying on public computer labs for internet access (when I'm not at work, that is) is that they always close on holidays. Which leaves me up here, without close friends (bad thing about living in Collegetown is that all my neighbors would change every year... sometimes every five months), without open libraries, and basically with nothing to do.

Except, y'know, write. And read nonfiction. But that isn't even the psuedo-human-contact that you can get via livejournal. And I start feeling kind of twitchy.

At least on Sunday I have church in the morning. But I'm thinking I may have to resort to hanging out in the laundromat and striking up conversations with random strangers. And my god, I suck at that.

2. Chapter 13 of "Apartment Manager" is half done. And I picked away at a couple of original stories as well. Possibly I will feel up to facing "Knives" this evening.

3. *looks around furtively*

My company just bought another company yesterday, but it won't be officially announced to the world until Tuesday. This is big for us, since it increases our revenue by about 50%, and increases our employees by over a hundred. Now, granted, this mostly affects the half of the company I don't work for, but there will probably be more sales generated as we try to talk these new customers into buying a bunch of our other products. Which may mean more work for me.

Eh. It's still not going to change anything much in the immediate future, but they did give us ice cream at the company meeting when the acquisition was announced. Mmmm, ice cream...

You can tell where MY priorities are. ;-)
