Apparently nerves over having people visit my new apartment are easily channeled into writing. In other words, I had about 1/4 of this done on Thursday, but I finished and revised it all last night.

Anyway. This is a story about Umino Iruka, who is both a good ninja and a good man. It assumes some background from "The Way of the Apartment Manager," but is not dependent on that story. (The slightly revised and final version is here on ff.net.)
