writing update
Nov. 6th, 2005 04:30 pm300 words of "Secrets," yay!
Also wrote some G/H/D trio stuff (a drabble for Clouds and a ficlet for Tattoo) because I have No Attention Span Whatsoever, argh. *beats head against wall* I'm going to sit on them until I have more than two themes written, though, because I want to get them looked over before I post anything.
Just for reference, I only use 'drabble' to mean 100 words exactly; I consider them an exercise in control, sort of like sonnets are in poetry. Things between 100 and, say, 1500-2000 words are 'snippets' or 'ficlets,' depending on my mood and how finished/self-contained they are. Beyond 1500-2000 words, it's a fic.
--------------------------
ETA: Have now written Bloodlines (#1, 250 words), Kisses (#2, 315 words), Clouds (#18, 100 words), If it wasn't you... (#23, 335 words), Tattoo (#29, 411 words), and Touch (#30, 170 words). That's 6 out of 30 themes, or 20% -- and 1581 words. Plus my 300 words of "Secrets" this morning, that makes approximately 1900 words today. Go me!
...
Swear to god, I must have creative ADHD. I cannot focus on a single story to save my life.
