I dithered for several weeks over whether to write the sex scene, but eventually decided not to. For one thing, it would take too much narrative space. For another, it takes me way too long to write sex scenes; the logistics are a pain and they always trigger my "*blush* I can't believe I'm writing this! *delay*" reaction. For a third, while the fact that Faith and Duo have sex is important, the actual details of that sex are largely irrevelant. So I did a fade to black and wrote pre-sex and post-sex conversations instead.
Sasuke continues to be pissy, and Duo is not helping matters. (He thinks he's being helpful. He has a weird definition of helpful, in that case; that's all I have to say.) However, I think I have finally figured out how to pull off a threesome in this situation, and it's much more IC than my initial vague thoughts. And I may actually write that sex scene in more detail, because Sasuke's frame of mind will be important.
( Lemonade, Part XI )
In other news, I wrote 550 words of "Secrets" chapter 12 this morning. Perhaps the light in the distance is, in fact, the end of the tunnel rather than another curse of procrastion as embodied by a metaphorical train? *hurries off to find Ginny's birthday, which seems to have been mislaid somewhere in the outline process*
