Federal taxes are DONE! And the gov't owes me $60.75. *dances*
Now I just have to finish my NY state taxes, except I can't because I have a tiny bit of income from New Jersey and that means I need to fill out Form IT-112-R, which I don't have. And Town Hall is closed, this being a weekend, so either I have to print the blasted thing out from online (which requires me to be elsewhere... perhaps Sunday?) or wait until Monday and pick up hard copies on my way to work or during my lunch break.
Bah. State tax forms always make at least twice as little sense as federal tax forms, and the federal ones are pretty screwy already.
I kind of like doing my taxes, actually. It's like playing a game with deeply stupid rules, and figuring out how to WIN ANYWAY.
