This is Dokugakuji-POV speculative future-fic (and also off-page deathfic -- I killed a lot of people, so consider yourself warned!), dealing with what might happen after the Sanzo-ikkou reach India and hopefully prevent Gyumaoh's resurrection. Despite the death, I think this story is more bittersweet than despairing.

So. Dokugakuji and Goku, after a possible end to the journey. A reflection on family, friends, choices, karma, and reasons to keep living. Contains offscreen death of major canon characters, post-traumatic stress and depression, mention of past incest and other extreme familial dysfunction.
