I woke up this morning and immediately wished I hadn't, since my nose is stuffed up six ways from Sunday with both allergies and a cold. I considered calling in sick. Then I got up anyway, because I'm no worse than I was on Monday, and I do need money, and I like to pretend that I'm a responsible person.

It turns out that that was a very good decision, because my boss forgot to set her alarm clock and I ended up opening the store alone. Which is usually no problem; I've done it lots of times before... just not while having a pseudo-out-of-body-experience courtesy of Benadryl and NyQuil.

...

I want to sleep for a week.
