brief illness and a smoke shop status report

Either I ate something that disagreed with me, or I had a 24-hour stomach bug. I am not sure which. I just woke up yesterday feeling queasy and awful, figured I'd feel better after I showered and had breakfast, and was then violently disabused of that notion.

I'd forgotten how much vomiting hurts one's abdomen. Blecch.

Anyway, I called in sick, went back to bed, and felt fine by about 8pm. And I was fine today, too, so hopefully it was a one-off and will not be repeated.

In other real life news, GrassRoots starts tomorrow, which means we will probably sell out of American Spirit cigarettes over the weekend (hi, hippy music people!). This also means that PM and BW are 'on vacation' for the next several days. I have PM's pager, AD is in charge Thursday and Friday, and I am on call in case of scheduling problems or whatnot.

I actually have Thursday and Friday off, which is nice because I haven't had a proper weekend for a while now (excepting Cat's shower and wedding, and those don't count because I was doing stuff instead of unwinding).
