wherein Liz feels very grey
Dec. 10th, 2008 08:19 pmI was out sick from work on Tuesday. Colds. Ick.
Today I have been working on Christmas cards and other gift-related organizational projects. I am still feeling washed out, and the gloomy, damp, chilly weather has done nothing to perk me up.
Also, my words have fled -- I managed about 400 on ch. 13 of "Secrets" today, as well as the rough-sketch beginning of an outline for my Yuletide story, but I feel monumentally uninspired and empty. I know it makes no real difference to the finished product; nevertheless, I loathe the drained sensation I get when forcing words out through a slough of apathy.
Bah.
...
Back to the coal mines, I suppose.
