I went to the dentist this morning. It turns out that while my gums are fine and the fronts and backs of my teeth are fine, I have three to five dark spots (presumably mini cavities) that are all between my molars, which is why I haven't noticed anything.

So I have a new appointment for May 11 to get them taken care of.

Bah.

(But, you know, it's better to fix them now while they're small and manageable than to wait until they're huge and giving me actual toothaches. For one thing, I think repairs work better and last longer the more of your original tooth is left. *grin*)

In other news, I opened my files to work on "Secrets" ch. 14... and ended up writing 400 words of a Darkangel trilogy oneshot instead. *headdesk* I don't even know if the oneshot will go much of anywhere -- the structure is a little odd, and I'm not sure my current vague outline will balance thematically -- which makes it especially annoying. It's one thing to get distracted and create a finished work. It's another entirely to get distracted by yet more WIPs.
