wherein Liz gets fillings
May. 11th, 2009 11:43 amMy dentist filled two of my cavities this morning, and I have an appointment for June 15 to do another couple. He has a good hand -- all I felt were a couple tiny pinches when he injected the novocaine, and then the entire rest of the operation, drills and all, was nothing more than a bit of distant pressure.
I have also been advised to buy some fluoride mouthwash and start using it regularly, in addition to my new enthusiasm for flossing. (I used to floss about once a week. I am now up to flossing every other day, and am trying to increase that to every day. I do not want more cavities!)
The one blotch on the morning is that I forgot to bring my checkbook. *headdesk* Fortunately, the receptionist gave me a copy of the bill and told me to mail in the check, which I will do this evening when I get home from work. (I am not sure if I have any Forever stamps, or if I'll have to break out the 2-cent stamps to cover today's postage increase. But this is a minor issue.)
And now I am off to work.
