I am doing a prompt-ficlet thing at the moment, and I am willing to keep going past five stories if anyone is interested.

This is the first one, for [livejournal.com profile] silverblade219, to the prompt: Narnia, Susan after the last book? I was thinking something later in her life, with her trying to continue living an ordinary life. Regarding Aslan, I tend to think that she would probably continue rejecting Narnia and yet I also kind of hope that at the end of her life she will be able to see her family again. However, I'm sort of curious how her day to day life is, which is not complete connected to Narnia, if that makes sense? (600 words)

As Love from Lies, or Truth from Art in my LJ comments.

[ETA: The AO3 crosspost is now up!]

I should mention, incidentally, that I do not have a defined headcanon for Susan post-TLB. I am willing to believe in all kinds of possibilities -- about the only ones I'd rule out are her committing suicide or otherwise giving up, because Susan is too practical to do that. She survives and adapts, which is, I think, half her problem. She's like water; she will shape to the world she's in, and mirror the people she's with. So this story is merely one way things might go, not a declaration of What I Think Really Happens. *grin*

This is the second one, for [livejournal.com profile] alchymie, to the prompt: Harry Potter fic: something that happened elsewhere (e.g. Hogwarts) while Harry, Ron and Hermione were out Horcrux-hunting. Snape-centric, also featuring the Carrows and Dumbledore's portrait. Contains the implied offscreen torture and attempted murder of a minor. (550 words)

A Certain Point of View

[ETA: The slightly revised final version is now up on AO3! You can also read the story here on ff.net.]

And now I am going to take a break from writing and go do laundry and grocery shopping. Yay for sunny fall days!
