[Fic] "A Simple Plan" -- The Dark Is Rising

While I was hashing out "Loving Bonds" in my head for Yuletide, I wrote a 200 word snippet by way of testing an explanation for the White Rider's presence in Tywyn. This is an expansion of that snippet. Nothing much happens: a woman goes for a ride, meets a man, and has a stilted conversation. It's funny how little it takes to push history onto a new track. I am halfway through getting my Yuletide fics onto my master list posts. I will probably finish that tomorrow.

wherein Liz resolves to WRITE, goshdarnit

My resolution for 2010 is to write something every day. I am not setting wordcount goals, because I know those only end up intimidating me and making me feel horribly guilty when I inevitably fall behind, but I think sitting down and writing actual fiction, even if it's horrible and I delete it all the next day, is not too much to ask.

In that spirit, tonight I wrote some of "Lemonade" ch. 16, which is random and not what I thought I was going to work on when I opened Word, but whatever. I finished Duo's POV section and started Sasuke's, and I know exactly what cliffhanger I am going to end this chapter on. I just need to figure out how to get there in, oh, 500 more words or so. *evil grin*

So yeah. This year, I am going to be productive. Or else.
