My maternal family (mostly at my mom's insistence) makes a point of having someone visit Grandma Doris about once a month. This month, it's my turn. So tomorrow afternoon I will fly to Omaha via Detroit, rent a car, and drive to Denison. On Saturday I will visit Grandma Doris in the morning, then take her out for lunch. I will take a short sanity break at the public library (and also check email and try to print my boarding passes), then return to visit some more and take Grandma Doris out for dinner.

On Sunday morning I drive back to Omaha, return the car, and fly to Ithaca, hopefully arriving in time to catch the last bus of the day (because TCAT added some weekend service to the airport, yay!).

It will be a little hectic. :-)

Anyway, I am pretty much packed except for stuff I will need to use in the morning, so that's all good. Also I futzed around with Google maps until I made the program cough up useful directions and images. Also also, because I leave in the afternoon rather than the morning (I thought for weeks I was leaving in the morning, because apparently I cannot tell when I open an email whether it contains the itinerary for going to Iowa or the itinerary for going to Minnesota in two weeks, argh) I should have time to go grocery shopping around noon. So that's good too.
