And once again I am filling random kinkmeme prompts instead of working on my WIPs. *headdesk* I wrote this last night and then spent about an hour this evening editing it so it made more sense and the voices sounded more IC.

Prompt: Any M/F human pairing, proposal, with the catch being that the woman of the two is the one that proposes. Maybe it's a leap year, maybe the girl just got tired of waiting for their man to summon up the cajones to ask the question, but she ends up being the one to do it. The guy is completely flustered of course, he thinks he should be the one who's down on one knee and it's all very silly and romantic :3

In response I wrote about 2,000-ish words of Jade/Dave. Probably more silly than romantic, and with the usual caveat that I cannot write freaking anything without random background world-building sneaking in. Also they talk about sex a little. :-)
