Things I have done today:

1. Beta'ed one NFE fic. Go me!

2. Written 500 words of my own NFE fic. Except I hate them and they suck and I think I started the story in the wrong place -- too much scene setting when I should've jumped right in to the actual story -- so I'll probably end up copypasting them into an alternate scenes document and starting over, but whatever, at least that's more than I'd been doing before.

3. Opened another NFE fic to beta. Suffered temporary brain failure.

4. Faffed off to read Homestuck fic and look at Homestuck art in hopes of resetting my ability to word.

5. Called myself a procrastinating dumbass when, two hours later, it became apparent that wasn't working.

6. Decided to switch tracks entirely. I am going to go do laundry and sit with my feet in Fall Creek while my stuff is in the wash. Once I get things into dryers I will return home and try to brain again.

...

Days off work are not as helpful as I wish they were.
