I don't listen to podfic myself -- if there is a choice between reading or listening to words, I will almost invariably choose to read -- but it's a neat thing in concept and a lot of people find it convenient or aesthetically pleasing for various reasons, so!
Here are links to three of my stories that have been podficced. (Podficked? Podfic'ed? Podficc'ed? None of these spellings look good, argh.) I listened to them this afternoon, and while I am the furthest thing imaginable from a connoisseur of the medium and also listening to my own words read out loud tends to make me cringe (yes, even when I read them to myself in the privacy of my computer room), I think they're pretty well done.
I'm still kind O_o at the idea of people wanting to read my stuff in public and all, but I have to admit it's flattering. :-)
