[Fic] "Scourge of the Sea" -- Homestuck

Because Vriska had to learn sailing at some point -- she was clearly comfortable on ships when she and Eridan were Flarp partners, and if nothing else she would have jumped at yet another way to imitate Mindfang -- but I sincerely doubt she would have wanted to learn from Eridan. A teaching relationship would give him far too much implicit power over her. Terezi, though... yeah, I think Vriska might have been willing to be vulnerable in her Scourge Sister's company. And before the Team Charge debacle, I don't think Terezi would have taken advantage.

That story is obviously not the songfic I was talking about. The thing is, when I opened that fic for editing it was blatantly obvious that I'd only written half the story and I needed to write a parallel/mirror second section in the alpha timeline. And that will require some actual structural planning -- I need to make song choices and work in ways for Rose's aspect and title to affect her life like I did for Roxy in the beta timeline part that's already written -- which takes a lot more time and thought than just setting two characters into a basic scenario and seeing what happens.
So you get Vriska and Terezi instead, because I always meant to write something about their relationship and this seemed like a good opportunity. :-)
