Today I attacked ch. 15 and the epilogue of "Secrets" with the Editing Pen of Death -- which is really just whatever red pen I happen to have lying around, but whatever -- and then made the resulting changes in the files themselves. And now they are sent off to beta, yay! With a bit of luck I will make my final edits and get both files posted by the end of July.

*crosses fingers*

In other writing news, I have some ideas for my NFE fic (which I had been ignoring both because of "Secrets" and because Homestuck crossover bunnies keep attacking me), but I need to reread some parts of canon to check for feasibility issues, and also to get some geography clear in my mind.

And, of course, I have all my old WIPs still hanging around occasionally knocking on the back door of my mind and asking when I'm going to get back to them. *sigh* Time management is the bane of my life. It always has been, and I doubt that will ever change.

...

I should start posting "Secrets" on AO3 while I am waiting on my betas. Yes. That is a thing I should do.

ETA: Chapter 1 is up now! With two tiny, titchy revisions to the train scene with Hermione, Ginny, and Neville, because I am an incurable perfectionist. (Said changes are mirrored on the ff.net version, because see above in re: perfectionism.) I think I will post a chapter a day until I get the whole thing up. That gives me two weeks to hear back from my betas and make the resulting changes.

...Oh hang on, I should go revise chapter 11 to mention Ron's birthday. Right. Yes. Okay. I will go do that now.
