This is not really a proper response to the prompt, since I never reached the actual meeting, but I like this scene and may do something more with it someday.

I really need to write "A Change of Season" in 2014; there are so many other Narnia fics I cannot work on until I finish that and thus pin down my post-HHB headcanon for Calormen!

While in Tashbaan, Cor and Aravis receive two invitations from Shezan and Ilgamuth: one to a ritual, one to a conversation. The latter is more dangerous. (1,800 words)

That ended up with a much heavier religious tone than I expected, but then again, Shezan is a priestess and a true believer; I should probably adjust my expectations whenever she's involved in a fic.
