I have tried three times to start this post and it keeps not working. So. Basically, this is my life: not quite enough sleep plus too much winter equals a Liz who can't seem to get her writing brain in gear, nor to focus on finishing the terrifying mountain of Ladystuck fics she wants to read, but has instead been randomly binge-reading through old DCU fics. (...Tim Drake is my woobie, shut up.)

I did write most of a rough draft of a Rose-and-Kanaya Homestuck fic last night, but I couldn't make the ending coalesce and the middle needs some heavy revision. I dunno, maybe I'll try to finish and fix that tonight.

That writing attempt was sparked by the announcement that

cottoncandy_bingo will open for Round Two on February 1st. Yay! But it made me realize I am nowhere near victory in my quest to fill every single prompt from my Round One card. Hence Rose-and-Kanaya-and-a-violin fic, to fill my "Music" square.

Hmm. I think I also have a start at an Aravis-and-Cor fill for "Candles" -- it's a longhand scrap written at work a couple months ago. And I definitely want to finish the Aravis/Cor "Back rub" fic one of these days.

I should really get to work on those.

...

I think I will go do that now. :-)
