I got my Jadefest assignment tonight. My giftee made three requests, of which the first is something I... well, I hestitate to say I absolutely can't write something, but yeah, pretty close to a flat "Nope, can't do that." Not my genre, not my plot, not my idea of appealing character interactions, just not my thing. But the second request is interesting and quite doable, and the third looks like possibly illegal amounts of fun and awesome.

I am going to try to fill request #3, with #2 as a backup option. The story is due on March 23rd. Here's hoping everything goes well!
