I would just like to take a moment to say that before I went to NJ on Friday afternoon I took down my cheap-ass plastic shower curtain (which is technically a shower liner, I think?) and dropped it into my tub to soak over the weekend in a nice soup of bleach-and-water, because even though Landlord Dude fixed my leaky faucet, that did not magically de-mildew the curtain and it was seriously nasty at the bottom, and when I came back home on Sunday it was beautifully white except for a little line where one layer folded over another along the edge so I folded back that bit of plastic and scrubbed the gunk away with an old toothbrush (protip: old toothbrushes are useful cleaning tools!) and let it continue soaking overnight, and this morning I drained the tub and rinsed the curtain several times, and now it is as good as new and I don't need to either buy a replacement or deal with a gunky disgusting curtain taking up too much room in my trash.

Yay!
