I started writing ch. 17 of The Guardian in Spite of Herself tonight. (I did the outline breakdown back in December, but I don't always start translating that into actual narrative for a while. Also I am out of practice writing stuff that can't be finished and posted in a single writing session.) We open with yet another interminable Amane family argument, though this one's going to get interrupted and shoved in a new direction within another couple hundred words because there is only so much talking in circles that A) people are willing to read and B) I am willing to write.

I'm currently planning three scenes, though I might end up breaking the middle scene into two sections because otherwise Sasuke and Naruto are at risk of temporarily falling out of the story. It will all still be the same event, but I could (probably should, come to think of it) show it from both Yukiko's and Sasuke's POVs for, I dunno, depth of perspective or something. Actually, yeah. That is a good idea. I will do that.

*makes note in outline*

Now the question is who to use for which part of the event in question...
