So basically, my peppers spent several days in my kitchen last week (on account of nights flirting with 32 Fahrenheit), but are now back outside for the next week or so. The decapitated pepper is doing well, as is the nibbled pepper -- as you can see, they have both put forth fruit and the peppers are growing nicely. (They're a bit yellowy compared to earlier fruits on other plants, but eh, it's really late in the year, what can you do.)

The Lazarus pepper still has not quite bloomed, but I think it's getting there. I have never had much luck getting peppers to bloom indoors, but if it can just manage to start fruiting, we should be good even if I don't get usable peppers until well after Thanksgiving.

2) ...and now its second attempt, a bit closer to the main stem

I have moderately serious plans to make some chicken-veggie-rice stuff on Thursday, and I think I may pick a couple of my peppers to serve as part of the 'veggie' component of the recipe. :)
