pepper update, Monday 11/21/16
Nov. 21st, 2016 07:02 pmFor obvious reasons (aka, SNOW), I did not move them back outdoors today. I also gave them all a small drink of fertilizer on Sunday, which I hope they are appreciating.
The Lazarus pepper's blossom is withering. With luck, it will now produce fruit. Without luck, the whole apparatus will shrivel up and fall off as the plant throws in the towel for the year. I know which outcome I prefer, but with how the year's been going, I am not going to place any bets on which will actually happen.
Meanwhile, the peppers on the plant with the uncanny good luck shield are ripening! Both of them! I thought about picking them and using them as the pepper component in today's batch of veggie sidedish, but on due consideration I have decided to let them ripen all the way, just because. :)

1) five peppers, Monday, 21 November 2016
.
2) the Lazarus pepper, hopefully getting ready to turn that wilting flower into fruit
3) the decapitated pepper
.
.
4) the repotted pepper
5) the pepper that lost an entire branch to squirrels
6) and the pepper with the good luck shield, both its fruits turning red
