As of today, thirteen of my eighteen seeds have sprouted to some degree. The only difference between this morning and this evening is that more of them have unfurled (or started to unfurl) their cotyledons.

Sprout D1 has not managed to properly split and shed its seed coat, which means its poor cotyledons are trapped. If it doesn't manage to free itself by the weekend, I will attempt delicate surgery with fingernail scissors. (I have been moderately successful at that in past years.)

Another update tomorrow, probably -- I will continue daily posts so long as new seeds keep sprouting. :)

(All sprout closeups are from the evening photoshoot. Peppers are named on a grid system, where columns are lettered, rows are numbered, and the bottom left square is A1.)
