Last night I dreamed that my parents, my sister, and I were on a road trip like we used to do when Vicky and I were kids -- actually, I think that in the dream, Vicky and I were both teenagers again. We were heading to Minnesota, which is normal. But we were driving around in a big white van with, like, folding beds and curtains in the back instead of a regular car.

Vicky was fooling around online and found a report of a woman who'd come home with her young daughter and found three strangers in her attic laying out bodies on the furniture and floor. Obviously she panicked and ran out.

Vicky decided we should investigate this, and for some reason Mom and Dad thought this was a great idea. I was really tired and just wanted a nap, but didn't object.

But that's another dream. :)

Stuff done today:

1. Failed to give blood, because my hemoglobin count was just a hair too low, boo hiss. Promptly signed up to try again in two weeks.

2. Edited and submitted my first assignment for my Cultural Anthropology class. \o/

3. Read and watched the first week content for my Interpersonal Communication class. (The Anthro class is pretty cool, albeit basic, because anthropology is inherently cool -- humans are weird and wonderful and terrible in all our variations! This class, on the other hand, is tripping my bullshit meters something fierce. Nonetheless, the professor seems nice and I am trying to maintain an open mind.)

4. Got paid to sit around doing mostly nothing (well, and my college coursework) at Not the IRS from 9am to 7pm.

5. Bought new socks.

6. Bought groceries.

7. Nearly finished the first scene of my super-belated FTH fic, after implementing the un-stalling solution I came up with a few days ago.

8. Started reading We Have Not a Government: The Articles of Confederation and the Road to the Constitution by George Van Cleve, because why not.

9. Petted a cat. :)
