This afternoon, I raked leaves.

That is an exhausting and frustrating task at the best of times, and this was not the best of times -- everything is still sopping wet, and there's still residual snow/ice on the ground from the big storm a week and a half ago. But this is the last clear day until well into December, and I just wanted it done.

I'm not sure if the city is still doing yard waste pickup, since the usual rule is "until the end of November or the first snow," and we definitely had the first snow. But I think a lot of people hadn't gotten their raking done at that point so... maybe they'll make an exception?

I'm not quite sure where to find out. The city website is not informative when it comes to ephemeral stuff, and there's nothing posted about that on the city's official Facebook page. So I guess I will tag the bags and cross my fingers.

...Which means I should go buy another sheet of tags, since I have 8 bags but only 4 tags. *sigh*

Okay. Today I have:

A) raked 8 bags of (wet) leaves, tagged them, and set them out for pickup

B) finished the Spanish exercises due Monday night and started on Wednesday's set

C) enrolled in a health insurance plan for 2019

D) cuddled Wilson for ten or fifteen minutes on three separate occasions over the course of the afternoon and evening

E) written my to-do lists through Monday the 3rd

F) washed my pants after the leaf-raking got them tragically caked in mud

I am wrung out and I am going to bed.
