wherein words are hard
Jun. 24th, 2019 06:52 pmI got a little writing done today at work -- by which I mean I continued tweaking the intro section of this fic so it hits a little closer to the right emotional and sociological notes, and then added some new stuff on to the active section where "I have written this" runs into "and here there is a giant blank space, yikes."
Sometimes I wonder about my brain -- for instance, why take an inherently ridiculous crossover and try to use it to do serious character development of a might-as-well-be-OC minor character from one canon plus a bunch of serious worldbuilding for the other canon? -- but then I remember that if I can make this blasted thing work, it's going to be ridiculously awesome.
Also it has a tongue-in-cheek fairy-tale element because I can't help myself, okay, that's just how I roll.
