We are slowly working our way through more rentals at work, though not the apartments we most want to move. It's not like there isn't any interest -- we get several inquiries about them each day! -- but people don't seem to be able to organize groups to come make a down payment. It's absurd that the Collegetown rental market runs so far ahead of itself -- when my company is just about the last one to open for new rentals and we do that eleven months before the start dates of over half the leases, you know something has gone badly awry -- but Cornell students keep starting their searches earlier and earlier and it's really a tragedy of the commons sort of game. *sigh*

Anyway, I got all our ads updated as of Thursday evening, except one site where I needed to get credit card info from our accounting department to pay to activate the listings. (Normally the accounting department would make that payment themselves, but they don't have the password to the site and it was easier to just give me the card details than to have me explain over the phone how to find the site and precisely what I needed activated and for how many months.) I got those three activated on Friday, and also sent out the October 1 rent reminder emails. Today Miss California finished reconstructing our apartment photo folders that got mysteriously swallowed by a computer glitch when I tried to copypaste them from an in-office hard drive to the shared Collegetown Z drive. We're pretty much on top of filing, we've created all our new tenant accounts in Rent Manager, and all our important spreadsheets are up to date.

So naturally we'll get swamped by scanning, uploading, and emailing copies of the new leases this coming week, once Aunt Boss and Mom Boss finish their parts of the leasing process, but hey, better stuff to do than sitting around bored out of my mind.

And we got our full building bonus checks this week, so that's nice. I'm still waiting for the full parking bonus check, but going by past history, Aunt Boss often has to wrangle that one out of the accounting department and our company owner because of Reasons. (To sum up, the spaces in question are either reserved for staff use or don't physically exist anymore because of a Thing with a neighboring landlord and a shifted driveway boundary, but the owner never remembers that so he won't let the accounting department cut the check until Aunt Boss explains to him, yet again, that those spaces don't count toward our parking occupancy percentage. *headdesk*)

...

Hmm, what else? Oh, today I harvested three peppers and eight tomatoes. I chopped the peppers up to add to my store of frozen peppers (which I will cook something with eventually), and I think I'll just take the tomatoes in to church tomorrow morning and let other people figure out how to serve them.

And now I'm going to bake some brownies, because eight small tomatoes, some of them with splits, don't really count as a full snack contribution. :)
