1. It snowed yesterday afternoon and again overnight, and then again this morning/early afternoon. I object strenuously to needing to haul out my winter coat before Thanksgiving.

2. Tomorrow is my church's annual Service Auction. I am not donating anything personally, but I did contribute items to two of the themed baskets we're testing as a replacement for the silent auction portion of the evening: namely, two types of tea and a jar of honey for the tea-themed basket, and a hand rake for the gardening-themed basket. I am also bringing a loaf of banana bread for the dessert portion of the pre-auction dinner, and I've volunteered for the cleanup crew. So that's some stuff going on in my life.

3. We rented our last 5-bedroom apartment today! \o/ Of course, we still have too many 6-bedroom units hanging around, but progress is progress.

4. I feel like it might be useful to make an audiobook equivalent of my monthly (...for certain values of "monthly") book list posts, both to track what I've been listening to and as a sort of "okay, maybe I've been reading less non-fanfiction stuff on paper (for certain values of "paper"), but it's not like I haven't been learning stuff" corrective to negative thought patterns. But that is a task for some time other than this evening.

5. I should probably get twenty or thirty dollars from an ATM tomorrow. Maybe I'll drive downtown during my lunch break to drop off the banana bread and grab cash, and pick up something portable to eat back at the office? Yeah, that sounds like a functional plan.
