Things done so far:

1. Went to church where I skipped the service entirely and instead helped set up for Stewardship's annual pledge drive kickoff event, which this year was a Harry Potter-themed lunch. Mostly what I did was cut out little footprint silhouettes (both human and canine) which we used to mark intended traffic flow paths. I also opened a bunch of veggie platters and cut some bread. Then I stole some of the bread and went home because I am on a moderately tight schedule.

2. LAUNDRY, UGH.

3. Lunch at home, which was also soup and bread, but in my case split pea with ham from a can rather than homemade potato leek. *shrug*

4. Reopened the Narnia/Naruto crossover (clear poll winner; thank you to everyone who voted!) and wrote slightly over 50 words so far, in which I think I just resolved one of my big logistical/emotional problems by asking myself what would Character X do in this situation? And the answer, of course, was to be sensible and not try anything fancy/clever, just get straight to the point and do her job. I am really getting to like Character X, antagonist though she may be. She makes my life so much simpler.

Competence kink isn't just a thing that's nice to read. It's also really relaxing to write, you know?

5. Changed linens.

And now I'm going to lie down for about twenty minutes, after which I will brush my teeth and head back to church for a chamber music concert, because I deserve nice things. :)
