Mr. Geniality is on vacation this week, and while I am glad he's having a good time, it's frustrating for me personally because I am trying to shoulder his workload. That means a lot of my workload is falling by the wayside because I've been doing a lot of backend stuff that will have a long-term payoff, whereas he's been doing more of the day-to-day stuff that has to be handled on a short deadline and produces up-front tangible results.

To be more specific, Mr. Geniality has been writing and processing leases and subleases while I've been wading through the morass of photo editing, video nonsense, and floor plan editing/creation, as well as fixing/creating/formalizing various forms and procedures. I mean, I am also the first point of contact for all non-phone inquiries, and I manage our ads, but generally speaking I'm doing less immediately visible stuff.

...Except for right now, when I have a stack of like fifteen renewal leases to finish generating and send out tomorrow, because I sent out our "Hey, the hold period is ending; have you decided whether you want to renew? If we don't hear from you by Date X, we will list your apartment as available for a 2022-23 lease," emails and now I have to deal with the replies all by myself. And also answer all the incoming phone calls. *headdesk*

Ah well, at least I'm not bored.
