Things done at work today:

1. Explained how the heating system works to multiple tenants who came to the office and asked. (The answer, for those who may be curious, is that we turn the heat on by October 20, or when we get three nights in a row under a certain temperature, whichever happens first. I don't know the specific temperature, and all such inquiries should be directed to the Maintenance department because it's their responsibility.)

2. Continued updating Collegetown floor plan handouts, which today involved (along with the standard fixing up blurry lines and replacing small/blurred text) resizing several studio floor plans and rearranging some 2-bedroom floor plans. I know exactly why those diagrams were previously arranged in an objectively silly order -- it has to do with the limitations of physical cut-and-paste and photocopiers -- but they make SO MUCH MORE SENSE in the new order.

3. Repeatedly consolidated the miscellaneous free items we left by the office for tenants to take. Explanation: remember how I've been organizing and weeding our apartment staging materials? Well, after staff got first pick at anything we want, we put everything out to see if anyone else wanted random free stuff. Turns out the answer, in most cases, is yes! We'll collect whatever is left on Monday and probably dump it in the trash -- I don't think anything actually worth donating to charity will remain.

4. Finished a 3-credit tax CE course on business entities (C corps, S corps, LLCs, partnerships, sole proprietorships, etc.) because holy gods it was a slow day.

5. Miscellaneous websurfing. As previously mentioned, it was a VERY slow day.

I would have worked on some photo editing, but my computer recently decided it doesn't like MS Photos and refuses to save my edits about every other photo. So I restarted my computer this evening and hopefully that will have resolved itself by the next time I'm in the office. *wry*
