Well, yes, but a D12 doesn't weight the probabilities of the numbers; they all have a 1/12 chance of appearing. With two D6, you have a 6/36 chance of rolling a 7, for example, and only a 1/36 chance of rolling a 2 or a 12. So I assigned numbers to stories based on how urgently I need to work on them. :-)
