Much insanity this past week. Part of that is, I think, just me going through a phase where I'm burned-out on my life and would like to take a vacation and sleep for a week; this happens now and then, and I just grit my teeth and slog on through until I have energy again.

I haven't written a word of fiction in over a week. I dunno why. I know where my stories are going; I just don't have any motivation to write them at the moment.

Instead, I've cleared out three bags full of old clothes and other assorted crud, which I then donated to my church's recycling sale (to be held in August). I spent a few hours talking to my great uncle on the phone, which I don't remember to do nearly as often as I ought to; he's a great conversationalist, and I wish I'd been able to know him better when I was younger. And I've been reading Robert Ludlum's Bourne trilogy... as well as Eric Van Lustbader's two recent follow-ups. Tonight I plan to rent the two Bourne movies, which I remember enjoying a couple years ago.

I think I may have an extensive meta-analysis post about all that Bourne stuff after the weekend, because I am silly and do things like use literary analysis on spy thrillers. :-)
