chicken pox, laundry, etc.
Nov. 24th, 2003 03:52 pmMy English Lit. professor has chicken pox. This is Not A Good Thing, because he's got to be around forty and chicken pox isn't good for adults. *sends happy thoughts his way*
One thing I hate is when people do a load of laundry and then leave it in the washer or dryer and thus get in the way of other people who want to do laundry. Right now, there's a load in the dryer, a load in the washer, and another load sitting on top of the dryer, waiting to be dried. And I want to get my towels washed before I go home, damnit! (What makes this even more irritating is that I know I'm guilty of leaving unfinished laundry sitting around myself. There's nothing quite like having one's own bad habits pointed out by other people's actions.)
I'm currently in one of those situations where I want to write something -- I have the writing itch -- and yet I'm not interested in any of my currently active stories. Nor do I have any new ideas. Perhaps if I open a file, I will get inspired? Maybe. If not, I can just go read for my history class, which I probably ought to be doing anyway. *sigh*
