*collapses in hysterically relieved laughter*

I don't believe it. I kind of expected Obama to win for weeks, but I didn't dare let myself believe it until now. And it still hasn't sunk in.

Oh my god.

I love my country SO MUCH right now!

ETA: McCain gave a very gracious concession speech, and while Obama's acceptance speech was, perhaps, a trifle long, I liked it a lot. Because yes, that IS the genius of America. We do change. We do overcome.
