1. I finished rewriting the problem scene in "Secrets" ch. 13, and have sent the whole mess to beta. *crosses fingers* We shall see how this goes.

2. I am still sick, but feeling moderately less awful than the past two days. Nonetheless, I think I'll skip church tomorrow and sleep in, since I have to be at work from 3:30-9:00pm, and I really cannot afford to miss that or fall asleep on the clock. *sigh*

3. I watched the 2005 version of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe yesterday, and it's very interesting to see what they kept from the book and what they changed. I understand a lot of the shifts, and other changes are required by previous changes, but some are a bit less explicable, if only because of how they shift the emphasis and tone of certain events. I may write up a post on that at some point. (I also want to rewatch the old BBC version, which my family recorded off PBS at some point, and which I seem to recall doing a better job on certain points, though not on others.)
