I meant to go apartment-hunting today.
Somehow I ended up going to the library and Autumn Leaves (a used book store) instead, which resulted in me bringing home seven Star Trek: TOS tie-in novels, putting hold/interlibrary loan requests on ten more, and now being halfway through Leonard Nimoy's second autobiography, I Am Spock, which I fiercely regret having given away my own copy* of about five years ago.
*headdesk*
One day, I will learn to prioritize more effectively.
But it's all right; my dad is coming up to visit this weekend, which means I will have a car available and will thus be able to look at more apartments. I just have to remember to call people Friday morning to set up appointments.
*I bought a paperback copy of I Am Spock in Germany in, I think, 1997, mostly because I had read every book I'd brought along and that was one of the few books available in the English-language section of the bookstore. I seem to recall buying Star Wars film novelizations at the same time, but that might have been a different trip or a different store.
