I went to the library after work today for A) air conditioning and B) free internet, since I have no AC at home and therefore have only just been able to turn on my computer.
Anyway, as I was about the leave the library around 7pm, I got a call from BW who was working closing shift. Apparently the smoke shop suffered a power outage -- which is extraordinarily odd, since no other store in the area lost power, and he couldn't find anything wrong with any of the circuit breakers upstairs or downstairs. He got some power back, but most of the lights and two of the drink coolers were still non-operational.
He called me because he was having trouble getting hold of PM, but then she called him on the store phone while he was calling me on another line (presumably a cell phone? I didn't know he had one...) and by the time I got over there to see if he needed a hand, he'd turned out all the remaining lights and locked the door.
I suppose if there's no power, there's no point being open. :-\
Hopefully the problem will be fixed by the time I get in tomorrow.
