I really liked the discussion of blood inheritance and the problems it can create, and the story of the lion and the grass. It felt very natural, and did a good job of worldbuilding/characterization, showing the differences between nations and how that affects the people raised in them. Also, I had sort of assumed that Riam and Tir got where they are due to blood inheritance, as they are brother and sister and both in positions of power. So this bit was a good way to subtly let the reader know that that's not how their home works, without info dumping.

Anyway, this was another enjoyable section, and I look forward to reading more!
