Note: "Strange Likenesses" is... somewhere between an embarrassment, a guilty pleasure, and a challenge I am going to beat because it is there and I refuse to let it beat me. In other words, it's a story I started based on a 'hey, wouldn't it be cool if...?' scenario. Foolishly, I left things open-ended in a way that pointed to a WIP rather than a self-contained two-shot, but didn't realize until halfway through chapter three that a WIP would require a plot. Which I did not have.

The resulting flailing killed a few years, and my slow writing has kept subsequent updates lethargic at best. Furthermore, I have no idea how long this story will end up, and my outline is vague like a vague thing.

I still think the scenario is damn cool, though. *wry*

Summary: What if the newly-disembodied Voldemort had noticed his link to Harry? A dark AU. Possession, dubious ethics, sociopathy.

Please note that the two chapters on FictionAlley are a pre-HBP version of the story, and as such are a historical curiosity. The journal posts are likewise the equivalent of a beta draft. For the good final copy, read the story on ff.net.
