Am back in Ithaca. Have been back since about 2pm, actually -- would have been sooner except I was held up getting lunch at a terribly busy Wendy's in Owego. Left Madison around 10:15. Drive was very smooth aside from three or four random tiny blots of congestion. Rain began in Binghamton and continued the rest of the drive and all the way until maybe 7pm.

Was at work 4-9pm. Did not get everything done (i.e., did not make up small Ziploc bags of rolling tobacco) on account of having to check in and put up three totes of books, package and write up the returns, and also pull and return all the Xmas books since we are, manifestly, past Xmas. Now STNC will doubtless send us twenty zillion Valentines books and the children's section will once again be clogged beyond the telling of it. :-/

Am mostly unpacked, yay. Have not written thank-you notes yet, boo. Must remember to do that soonish. Perhaps not tomorrow -- am closing again, and I hate doing chore-type things after closing shifts -- but definitely Thursday or Friday.
